Tracklaying progress...

Got some more track down today. It's a bit time consuming but having got the pins in (note that they are now in between the sleepers, allowing them to sit on the sleeper and making the pins far less obtrusive- thank you Richard Glover) the actual soldering doesn't take too long. Just a couple more lengths of track to go now and then it will be onto making point blades, the bit I am fearing the most...

  1. Have you filed a groove for the rail to sit inside on the rails? Or joggled them? I’m not familiar with building track in OO to know what is and isn’t necessary.

    1. I filed a groove as I thought it would be easier. One point I have done a larger groove, similar to proprietary points, the other just taking the foot off the rail, I'm interested to see what will and won't work.
